Perfect for both existing Motability customers and those new to the scheme, the Motability Scheme online account is designed to save you time and give you greater freedom in looking after your lease. It allows customers to:

What’s included?

This scheme offers a number of benefits, allowing you to make the most of your time on the road, including:

A new car of your choice every three years At Arbury, you’ll be entitled to a brand-new car every three years. We’ll contact you a few months before your lease expires – so, should you decide to continue with Motability and remain eligible, you can select a new vehicle.
Fully comprehensive insurance policy Our worry-free package provides similar cover to a fully comprehensive insurance policy. You can still lease a car even if you don’t drive, as you can nominate two people who can drive on your behalf. If you decide to leave Motability at a later stage, you’ll be able to request a letter confirming your claims history for your new insurer.
Full servicing and maintenance plan All of your regular servicing and maintenance is included and taken care of by our specialist Servicing department, ensuring you have no unexpected repair bills with your Motability car.
Full breakdown assistance from RAC The RAC Motability Assist helpline and roadside staff are specially trained to handle your calls and are available on 0800 73 111 73, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This includes both roadside and home recovery.
Annual car tax On delivery of your new car, you’ll find it’s already been taxed for the first year, taking that extra pressure off you. If you live in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland, we can arrange for your car to be taxed each year throughout your lease (unless you wish to pay tax privately).
Window and windscreen repair or replacement If anything were to happen to your windows or windscreen, repair and replacement of these are included within the lease.
60,000 mileage allowance over three years To keep you moving, we include a 60,000 mileage allowance over the three years you own the vehicle. If you exceed the total mileage during this time, there will be a charge of 5p for every additional mile travelled.
Many adaptations at no extra cost Adaptations can be made to your vehicle to make it easier, safer or simply more comfortable for you to use – many of these adaptations are now available from Arbury at no additional cost.
A wide range of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs) These vehicles allow you to travel whilst seated in your wheelchair, as either a passenger or the driver. WAVs come with a longer lease of five years and carry a mileage allowance of 100,000 miles. At Arbury, we also stock a range of Nearly-New WAVs, which can be leased for three years.

What’s available?

Motability offers a huge range of cars to choose from, suiting all needs and budgets, with a wide selection of vehicles available that’ll cost no more than your weekly allowance. To increase your choice of cars even further, you can top up your allowance with an upfront payment.

What’s not included?

At Arbury, we’ve included as much as we can in your package; however, there are a few items you will be responsible for:

•      Fuel and consumables, such as screen wash
•      Optional extras not fitted as standard
•      Some adaptions that require additional costs
•      An insurance excess that will apply on any claim for loss or damage (this excess amount varies depending on the age and experience of the driver (full details can be obtained on application)
•      Any fines accumulated
•      Theft of, or damage to, personal belongings (full details can be obtained on application).

Am I eligible?

To be eligible to join, you need to receive one of the following:

•      Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
•      Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
•      War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
•      Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

You will also need to have a minimum of 12 months remaining on your award when you apply.

With our Contract Hire package, you don’t need to drive – you can nominate two drivers who may be friends or relatives. Parents or carers can also apply on behalf of a child aged three years and up.

There’s no upper age limit to be part of this scheme – as long as you already receive one of the allowances listed above, you’re eligible.
